Black Honey MGX by Arik Levy

Black Honey.MGX, designed by Arik Levy for Materialise.MGX, made by Stereolithography, is inspired by the honeycomb. With its hexagon shapes, it gives the sensation of a biological material, alive in movement. It resembles a digital snapshot of a flowing, flexible fabric-like material, paused in its moving position.
Black Honey dish or plate is created through a prototyping technique: Stereolithography (SLA) made out of epoxy.
