ONE HUNDRED DIFFERENT - Porcelain Box - set 1

The boxes of Jeanne Opgenhaffen with black lines run through space and extend beyond forms and symbols to end up converging or completely covering the virgin white surface of the porcelain given to them to decorate. Each box is unique and its decoration varies with vertical or horizontal stripes, delicate lines, dots, spirals and textures from the world around. The black lines, thin and erratic, delicately leave their marks on the fragile surface of the cube, forever scaling its symbolic content with their insignificance.
