The Tulip table lamp by Peter Jansen for Materialise MGX takes its shape from intriguing organic forms – forms that are so far unknown and yet seem so familiar. Rather than centering on a translation from our visible world, this light object is a translation of the strange attractors and mathematical formulas used in chaos theory. Tulip is created through a prototyping technique: Stereolithography (SLA) or selective laser sintering (SLS). The shade is made of epoxy or white polyamide. The foot is of stainless steel and its pole of chrome coated messing. Lamp: CE model 220V halogen G9 max 40W, UL 120V model with Xelogen T3, 12V G4-40W, dimmer and 12V transformer are included. Size: height 57cm/22.4, shade Ø 11,5cm/4.5". Extremely easy maintenance: remove stains with water & clear soap. Real colours may differ slightly to the colours you see on your monitor.
